Why Did We Decide To Homeschool
I can't believe that we have been officially homeschooling now for 9 years. I now have 2 middle schoolers, and 2 elementary kids. Life is busy and I wouldn't change a thing. I'm often asked by folks why we first decided to homeschool our kids and how long we plan on doing so? Today I'm going to share with you how it all started.
Nine years ago, I was a stay at home mom of only 2 kids and pregnant with my third. Einstein, my eldest son, had just turned 4 and his little sister Bella was 2 1/2 years old. Life was hectic, but the kids were doing well. My son had already learned to read and write and was doing things academically far beyond what kids his age were able to do and his little sister was not that far behind him. I knew immediately that an average public school education would not work for them, so I did the only thing I could do. I started to research private schools in our area that we could send him to for kindergarten. I tried to convince myself that we could some how budget enough to financially afford to send our little guy to a good private school. Meanwhile, I was going to continue doing what I was already doing, which was teaching him myself. Well the time came for him to start kindergarten and we still could not afford to send him to private school. After much prayer and worrying my husband encourage me to continue homeschooling the kids while we waited on God to tell us where we should send them next year. The rest as they say is history.
As for how long we plan to homeschool, the answer is, until we are done.
How about you, do you homeschool? If so how did it all start and how long do you plan on homeschooling? If not how did u decide which school to send your kids to?
Until next time, take care :)

Who Are We?
We are a Haitian American homeschooling family of 6. The hubby and I have been married since the year 2000. We love the LORD and strive to live a life that pleases him and fulfills his plans for us.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Our first born is now 13 years old. He truly loves music and has been playing the piano since he was 6 years old. He dabbles in computer programming and has a passion for Lego. He now prefers to be known by the name Einstein instead of Little Man.
My oldest little girl is 11 1/2 years old. She is my blossoming Bella. She Plays the violin, loves arts and crafts and is becoming my right hand woman.
Next up is my Mini-Me, at 8 years old she thinks she can do it all. She loves to sing and dance and play her violin. There is not a shy bone in this little girls body.
Last but not least there is this little guy. I can't believe that he is 4 years old already (help me Lord). He loves to build with Lego, sing and play games on the I-pad. He is fast and busy and very much this mama's sweet baby boy. His eyes alone will melt your heart. He prefers to known by the name Little Man, instead of Baby Boy.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Until next time, take care :)

Thank you for stopping by and checking us out. Feel free to introduce yourself. Tell me a little about yourself and if you have a blog leave me a link in the comments.
